2021 – Present Special Advisor to Founder, AUCDT, Oyibi, Ghana Special advisor to the Founder Head of Department, ICT.

2020 – Present Director, SecureDataGhana.com, Accra, Ghana Architect and team lead for AsanSka University College Infrastructure setup, online hosting, and Student Portal Management System.

2018 – 2020 Principal Full-Stack Developer, Outfront Media, Boston, MA Agile Team lead of On-Delivery infrastructure team supporting Out of Home Digital Media Advertising platform based on AWS Kubernetes, Continuous Integration and Deployment and Kafka. The team supported software and firmware development teams working on Microservices, Angular applications, and Android devices.

2009 – 2021 Consultant, Conference Management Associates, Inc, Hanover, NH Architect and team lead of Abstract Submission Systems for International Federation of Adipose Tissues Surgeons (IFATS), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS). Both systems are used for annual meetings; consisting of 3-tier Angular front-end, Java REST services, and MariaDB back-end, all hosted on Codero dedicated servers.

2006 – 2017 Principal Software Engineer, Fidelity Investments, Merrimack, NH. Led Java Middle tier team to develop high-performance REST services for High-Income Trading Systems and Portfolio Construction team.
Lead contributor and evangelist of Fidelity Java Open Source enterprise report orchestration framework services supporting Autosys Scheduling, OBIEE Execution, Mail Notification, and SharePoint document delivery.
Product Manager working with offshore agile teams to design, implement and support Adobe Flex, Java web services, and WPF applications supporting next-generation Treasury Office, Investment Proxy Research, and Proxy Voting applications.

Provided technical leadership for the adoption of new technologies including CICD, Splunk dashboards, Jenkins, and Cloud computing. Mentored India and US agile teams on improving engineering excellence, best practices, code development, “brown bag” sessions, and introduction of new tools.

2000 – 2006 Chief Technology Officer, SecureData Company Limited, Accra, Ghana. Development of training programs in Enterprise Linux, J2EE, LAMP, and XML.
Provided critical data center infrastructure and meltdown situation support to financial, insurance, and ISPs running Oracle on Linux. Designed and architected the integration of e-commerce shopping cart software for the online catalog.

Managed the consulting business of development, deployment, and management of Internet Conference Management systems using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and Java.

Led Project Teams and provided hands-on implementation of e-commerce Online Catalogs, Internet Tracking (FedEx-like), and Wireless Network Billing Systems.

1995 – 2000 Senior Principal Consultant, AOL/Netscape Communications, Professional Services, Mountain View, CA. Enabled several Fortune 500 companies on adopting Netscape products for technical projects and architected global applications in the directory, financial, messaging, and collaboration services sector.

Implemented Internet publishing systems for Gartner and other institutions using J2EE, Solaris, and Oracle database management systems. Performed extensive optimization activities for various clients on infrastructure performance optimizations with various servers and enterprise applications.
