Setup Email account on Android

1. Go to Settings from the Home Menu, tap on Accounts > Add Account > Other and select Add Mail Account.

2. Enter Email address and tap on MANUAL SETUP, select Personal (IMAP), tap NEXT and enter password in the field provided. Tap NEXT to continue.

3. For Incoming and Outgoing Server Settings, enter ‘acdt.edu.gh’ as Host name and ‘acdt.edu.gh’ as Server. Tap NEXT to continue

Take Note: When prompted ‘Cannot Verify Server Identity’, click details and select Trusted.

4. Account setup is almost ready, edit Your name as you want to be displayed on messages you send.

5. Your account should be synchronizing by now and when it is all set up, open your email client to view your emails.

Setup Email account on iPhone

1. Go to Settings from the Home Menu, Navigate to Mail and Select Accounts. 

2. Add a New Account by selecting others and Add mail Account

3. To create a NEW ACCOUNT, type name (name that will appear on emails you do send). Enter Email address and password in the fields provided, a description of the account (preferably ‘ACDT Mail’) and tap on NEXT.

3. For Incoming and Outgoing Server Settings, type ‘acdt.edu.gh’ as Host name, and enter your username and password. Tap Next

Take Note: When prompted ‘Cannot Verify Server Identity’, click details and select Trusted.

4. If your email settings are correct, tap Save to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you’ll be asked to edit them.

5. Open your email account to view your emails when its done synchronizing.
