CTVET was established to regulate, promote and administer technical and vocational education and training for transformation and innovation for sustainable development. AsanSka University College of Design and Technology in fulfilling its mandate of helping “to design and build a nation” has received acreditaiton to roll out Competency Based Training (CBT) programmes in Garment Making at National Proficiencies I & II, Fashion Design Technology at National Certificates I & II and Artefact Design-Jewellery at National Profiencies I & II and National Certificates I & II on the National Technical and Vocation Education and Training Qualifications Framework (VTVETQF).
