SHORT COURSE

This course introduces students to the core concepts of cloud computing. You gain the foundational knowledge required for understanding cloud computing from a business perspective and also for becoming a cloud practitioner. You learn about the definition and essential characteristics of cloud computing, its history, emerging trends, and the business case for cloud computing.

Course Objectives

At the end of the training, students will be able to demonstrate the use, knowledge and understanding of the following cloud computing concepts:

• Define cloud computing and explain its essential characteristics, evolution, and business case for cloud adoption
• Explain how some of the emerging technologies, such as the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Analytics, are being supported by the cloud
• Describe the key features, benefits, and use cases of different types of cloud service and deployment models
