BTech Digital Media and Communication Design

Exhibit proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software and utilize digital design practices and principles.

Introduction to Communication Design

This course seeks to introduce students to an overview of what communication design is and the immense professional opportunities it provides.

Computer Graphic Design

This course seeks to introduce students to the use of computer to generate images appropriate for various graphic design projects by relying on software.

Digital Photography

This course seeks to introduce students to the use of computer to generate images appropriate for various graphic design projects by relying on software.

Animation

This course is designed to introduce students to the field of Animation, including 3D Modelling, Rigging and Rendering techniques using software such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D or other related 3D tools.

Short Course in Web Design

This course is designed to describe the structure and functionality of the world wide web, create dynamic web pages using a combination of HTML, CSS, WordPress and JavaScript

Studio based research in Communication Design

Students will conduct practical based research on any communication design problem. The course will provide the opportunity for students to pursue a self-proposed and self- directed research in graphic design. Students adopt a professional approach by working through stages of the design process in graphic design.

Robert Bunkangsang Buchag …

After his first degree, Addo ventured into the business world designing, producing managing a private Jewellery shop. In 2010 Addo gained admission into KNUST to pursue a Master of Fine Art (Jewellery and Metalsmithing) programme at the Industrial Art Department and graduated successfully in 2013.

Addo obtained His PhD in African Art and Culture in 2021.
