This course seeks to train students to acquire the prerequisite hands-on skills in the soldering technique in Jewellery production.

Duration: 4 Weeks

The course is intended to:

1. Produce technologically trained graduants with the requisite knowledge and skills in the use of the soldering torch as a tool in Jewellery production.
2. Give students the opportunity to explore and unearth their creative prowess in the handling and control of the soldering torch in the operations of jewellery production as a source of employment.

• Preparation of solder
• Cleaning of solder
• Soldering in Jewellery

The course will be delivered through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on practical activities.
